A director chair is a fun, quirky addition to your seating lineup both indoors and out. If your director chair is looking a little worse for wear, or you just want to change out the fabric colour, you’re in luck! We supply Planosol and Sunbrella marine canvas and can help you with brass eyelets and 3mm cord.
This can be a satisfying DIY project as you will have the pattern to work off. We can advise fabric allocations and even put the eyelets in for you if you are based in AKL. Your thread is also another very important consideration as you will want the thread to keep up with the acrylic marine canvas. We recommend a polyester thread as this will not rot and keep performing for the life of the directors chair.
